Pickens County Alabama Children's Theater Workshop

The Pickens County Arts Guild, in collaboration with the Tuscaloosa Children’s Theatre, is bringing an exciting opportunity to young performers in the area. The Pickens County Children's Theater Workshop will take place from Monday, June 16, through Friday, June 20, 2025, at the Aliceville Entertainment Complex, located at 210 Broad Street, NE, in Aliceville.

Designed for children and teens ages 6 to 18, the workshop will run from 9:00 a.m. until noon each day. Participants will receive expert instruction in stagecraft, voice, and dance from experienced professionals with the Tuscaloosa Children’s Theatre. Throughout the week, students will build confidence, develop their talents, and enhance their performance skills in a fun and supportive environment.

The week will culminate in a special showcase performance on Friday, where participants will have the opportunity to demonstrate what they’ve learned for family and friends.

Program director and member of the Pickens County Arts Guild Ginger Richardson says the organization is proud to sponsor the workshop and encourages youth throughout the area to engage in the exciting opportunity.

Early-bird registration, available from April 1 through May 10, is $75 per participant. Regular registration, from May 11 through June 10, is $100.
