WORLD HEPATITIS DAY - ALICE SPRINGS

We're excited to announce our participation in the Todd Mall Markets. At our stall, we will offer the Hep C Quick Test, along with resources.

To highlight the importance of our outreach efforts, here are the latest statistics from the Northern Territory:
- As of the end of 2023, there are 6,357 people living with hepatitis B or C in the NT.
- Among them, 1,820 individuals have hepatitis C, with only 36, or 2%, having received treatment.
- Since 2016, 35.5% of those with hepatitis C have been treated.
- There are 4,537 individuals living with hepatitis B, with 494 receiving treatment, which accounts for 10.9% of those infected.
- Currently, 21.3% of individuals with hepatitis B are under medical care.
