The Ice Age National Scenic Trail (and Alliance) is hitting the small screen!
A brand-new Discover Wisconsin episode will take you on a journey through glacier-carved landscapes and three welcoming Ice Age Trail Communities: Rib Lake, Portage, and Algoma. From Northwoods adventure to historic charm and lakeside beauty, see Wisconsin’s Trail and its communities shine like never before!
Be among the first to see the episode—join your neighbors at a Community Viewing Party—Thursday, October 2, 2025!
The episode will be simultaneously broadcast in:
- Algoma – Algoma Elementary School Auditorium, 514 Fremont Street, Algoma
AND...
- Portage – Portage Theater, 322 W Wisconsin Street, Portage
- Rib Lake – Bandshell at Ice Age Park (inclement weather, the Ice Age Pavilion), 847 Fayette Ave, Rib Lake
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Viewing takes place at 7:00 p.m.

This event is an official Mammoth Hike Challenge event – earn 5 bonus miles for attending!
