FINAL FANTASY Holiday Commander Box League offers an exciting sealed league-style Commander experience from December 5–11. Players buy a FINAL FANTASY Play Booster box, build a 60-card Commander deck from it, and play league matches over the course of the event.
While games use standard Commander rules, deck construction follows unique Commander Box League guidelines below.
⦁ Promos from Buy-a-Box and Holiday Commander Box League may not be used in deck building.
⦁ Decks may include multiple copies of cards opened from the Play Booster box.
⦁ Any legal commander opened is allowed.
⦁ Color identity rules in deck building are ignored; players may build decks with any colors they want, regardless of their commander's color identity. Note: commander color identity still applies when cards refer to color identity (for example, with Arcane Signet).
Players may adjust their decks between games using cards from their Play Booster box.
Prize support will be given out based on the following:
Players will receive a Holiday Commander Box League promo upon joining the event and paying for their box, while supplies last.
Each day there is a $5.00 entry fee that will give each person 1 entry into the end of event raffle that will take place at the end of the event on Thursday, Dec. 11th. So each day you play, you will pay your entry fee and get another raffle entry. Players will also receive a raffle entry for each pod they win, no ties.
