The Filthy Darlings are a 4-piece indie rock act from the ACT of ten years. Lead by the distinctive vocals & involving lyrics of Nick Lee-Murphy the band invite nods to Jonathan Richman & The Modern Lovers, the band Television plus other seminal late 70s/ early 80s original NY style acts.
They promise a Rock and Roll show that is at times energetic, hopeful, sometimes sad but ultimately a trip through the trials of life we all share as humans. Best described as ‘fresh n fruity”, The Filthy Darlings take no prisoners when it comes to crimes of the heart and rock out with the best of them.
