Snack Smart Workshop

• Join Zweet Sport as we aim to build health and community connection through an upcoming nutrition workshop. Nutrition is an integral component of optimizing health. But with so much conflicting nutrition information, barriers to healthy cooking and eating, and the need for individualized guidance, it can be hard to make positive changes in cooking and eating behaviors that will lead to improved resilience, fitness, and well-being.

• Join local and award-winning nutrition and culinary medicine expert Christina Badaracco, MPH, RDN, LDN, for an interactive workshop focused on building satiating and balanced snacks that will help to provide delicious and nutritious dishes based on adaptable recipe frameworks to fuel you throughout the day. During this 90 minute session, you'll learn about the importance of balanced snacks and meals, tips and ideas for quick and satiating dishes that can be prepared in advance, and recommendations for swaps suitable for diverse tastes and individual needs. You will have time to ask your burning questions about nutrition and cooking and then get hands-on experience making and sampling 3 delicious dishes to enjoy together for lunch—plus, you will take home copies of the recipes. Christina will also offer copies of her new cookbook, Mix It Up, for sale on site. Join us on September 20 to take the next step in improving your nutrition with our Zweetsport community!
