Ever wanted to break out in a crowd and just start shimmying? Now’s your chance! LMP Community Moves is back- offering a ten-week dance workshop where you’ll learn a unique choreography to a traditional Egyptian folkloric song.
This lively piece features strong Arabic percussion and is designed to invite everyone to move, connect, and have fun.
No dance experience is required—just bring your energy and enthusiasm!
At the end of the series, participants will have the opportunity to take part in an optional community flash mob performance on Saturday, March 28th—perfect for showing off your new moves in a joyful, rhythmic celebration.
Who can join: Ages 16+ with a workshop fee.
Youth participation: Ages 15 and under may join free with an accompanying adult, or families may choose to make an optional donation to Local Motion Project.
Workshop Fee: $99/10 weeks
Saturdays: 12:30–1:30 PM, January 17–March 21, 2026
Pro-rated options available: sign up for 7, 8, or 9 weeks but it is suggested to attend 8 weeks if planning to perform.
