Join us Tuesday, September 9 at 7 p.m. as we host bestselling authors Hannah Grieco and Amber Sparks in conversation about how to put together your own short story collection.
Hannah and Amber will discuss how they build their own collections, how writing short stories differs from long-form writing and more. The event will end with a Q&A session and book signing by both authors.

About Amber Sparks
Amber Sparks is the author of an upcoming novel, Happy People Don’t Live Here, four collections of short fiction, and a hybrid novella written with Robert Kloss and illustrated by Matt Kish. Her essays, film and book criticism have appeared widely online, here as well as in BrightWall/Dark Room, Indiewire, Bustle, The Paris Review, Slate, Tin House, New York Mag, and elsewhere. She lives in Washington, DC, with her husband, daughter, and two cats.
