Participants must be 14 years or older; participants ages 14-17 are required to have a parent or guardian join them on the tour. All participants are required to sign a tour waiver in advance.

We are touring a working wastewater treatment plant. Participants will primarily walk outside, exposed to the elements and odors. The tour may experience a variety of surfaces, including blacktop, pavement, cement, and gravel. Participants will also climb up and down stairs for a portion of the tour.

Everyone's safety is AlexRenew's primary priority. Tour participants must wear pants and closed-toed shoes (sneakers or hiking shoes). Shorts, skirts, dresses, sandals, flip-flops, ballet flats, etc., are not permitted on the plant.

AlexRenew will provide participants with a hard hat, safety vest, and toe covers for the duration of the tour.
