About the author:
Evadeen Brickwood grew up in Germany and studied cultural sciences and languages. The qualified translator moved to Botswana in 1988 and eventually to Johannesburg/South Africa. She is the author of 14 books so far in the genres time travel fiction, adventure mysteries - in English and German - and The Charlie Proudfoot murder mystery series. In 2017, her first novel won the Book Talk Radio Club Award in England in the Best Science Fiction category.

Through her organization, S'He Empowers, she has made it her mission to empower young girls, adopting 30 in Southern Africa and providing them with essential resources, including sanitary pads, education, and nourishment.
