VJ Day community event and beacon lighting
Join us to mark the 80th anniversary of VJ Day (Victory over Japan Day) and the end of the Second World War, as we host a free open-air community event and beacon lighting in Manor Park, Aldershot, on Friday, 15 August.
The event also includes music, readings and a parade of veterans’ associations and uniformed youth groups.
