You don’t have to be a member of our leisure centre or have visited us before to get involved in our Big Open Weekend, so why not bring your friends and family along too?

Free Swimming Lesson Taster Sessions -
Whether you're looking to sharpen your swim strokes or build confidence in the water, this special session is perfect for swimmers of all abilities. Led by expert instructors, it’s a great chance to dive in, learn new techniques, and enjoy the pool - exclusively free for the weekend!
Saturday 4th October -
10am - 10.30am: Beginner
10.30am - 11am: Non-Swimmer

Free Family Fun Swim:
Dive into some splash-tastic fun at our Big Open Weekend with a free Family Fun Swim! With plenty of space to play or relax, it’s a great opportunity to experience our pool and make lasting memories with your loved ones!

Free Swimming For All:
Across our Big Open Weekend we are offering free swimming for all to enjoy.

Free Aqua Challenge -
Take the challenge of our inflatable obstacle course on this Big Open Weekend. Race your way through the course and try not to fall off! For ages 6 and above, anyone can join in!
Please be aware ages 6-7 must wear a flotation device to participate, and participants must be able to swim.

Free Lane Swim -
Our lane swim sessions provide a perfect environment for those who want to build up their fitness, improve stamina or just try and beat those current swim times.

Fitness Activities -
Free Gym Pass for the day:
Our friendly gym and fitness team will be on hand to help, show you around and provide free, on-the-spot inductions where you get chance to get on some of the equipment and make yourself familiar with the centre.
No need to book, simply visit reception on the day!
Pilates Taster:
Pilates is a low-impact exercise system that develops overall strength, flexibility, balance, and body awareness by focusing on controlled movements coordinated with breath, emphasising the deep core muscles.

Get ready for a a fun-packed weekend full of entertaining activities for the little ones! We will exclusively be hosting free face painting for your little ones throughout our Big Open Weekend.
No booking required, just turn up and enjoy!

In addition to all the fun activities, we’ll be running a Cake Sale throughout the weekend, with proceeds going towards the fantastic charity, 'Cancer research'.
