Bat Walk and Moth Trapping

Join us for our annual Bat Walk and Moth trapping event.

We start at the Moor (meeting at the shelter) where we'll see (and hear) what bats we can find on the Moor and over the Moor Pool.

We'll then walk to the orchard where our moth trap will have been attracting moths and we'll see the variety of moths that are around every night. The event is led by local wildlife expert Adam Linett (formerly of Cheshire Wildlife Trust).

At the orchard we'll have refreshments available, including marshmallows to toast on an open fire.

The event is supported by Knutsford Town Council which has funded bat detecting equipment for use at the event.
