Hello Friends,
You’re invited to join us for three special Virtual Programs celebrating the Fall Migration!
Fall migration is in full swing, bringing unique sights and stories from the Platte River. Sandhill Cranes have been lingering on the roost for several days, and our Science Team has surveyed multiple Whooping Cranes in the greater Big Bend area. Come with your questions, and learn about all that has been happening in the following line-up.
November 23 (Sunday) at 5 PM CST: Members of our Science Team will join us to recount the season as we look at live and documentary style footage of the Fall Migration. We’ll share updates from the field, highlights from this year’ssurveys, answer your questions live, and how the 2025 migration compares to previous years.
November 25 (Tuesday) at 4:30 PM CST: We will feature live activity from our River Cameras. Part-way through the program, the team Headwaters Corporation will join us, and we will discuss their Whooping Crane flights.
December 2 (Giving Tuesday) at 4:30 PM CST: This Giving Tuesday special will follow our traditional Live Virtual Crane Tour. We will look at the cranes coming into the roost, discuss their behavior, and share any surprises that may take place between now and then!
