On Saturday September 13th, from 5pm - 9pm, the Dormont Human Relations Commission is organizing Dormont's first ever Community Porch Crawl ... PORCHMONT!
On this fun late-summer evening, folks around Dormont will be opening up their porches (lawns, stoops, and other cool spaces) for a full-on community porch hang. Neighbors will cruise the sidewalks of Dormont, popping onto porches, discovering new parts of the community, connecting with old friends, and making some new ones.

But that's not all ... we'll start getting in the mood by taking the month of August to celebrate the Dormont community and the porches that connect us.
PORCH SOCIAL HOURS: Let's make porch life a habit! From 5-9 each Saturday in August, join us and other Dormont residents as we hang out on our porches, stoops, sidewalks and lawns and get to know our neighbors. Have some snacks and drinks, play some games, or just chill and relax.
SOCIAL MEDIA CELEBRATION: Keep an eye on this event page and Borough of Dormont social media to participate in a month of porch and community-related activities on social media. We'll have fun facts, opportunities to share your Porch Stories, and more!
