Walk Beyond Recovery - ALCESTER, WARWICKSHIRE

This week sees the start of a 'Walk Beyond Recovery' group in Alcester. Our walks are specifically for those individuals living with a brain tumour diagnosis, and their carers.

Alcester is a charming market town in Warwickshire, with Roman origins, located at the junction of the River Alne and River Arrow, and known for its preserved buildings, lanes, and a rich Roman heritage.

It is situated approximately 8 miles (13 km) west of Stratford-upon-Avon and 8 miles south of Redditch, close to the Worcestershire border.

Led by our volunteers Paul and Aimee, this walk is around 3.6 miles and starts at a car park in the town centre by public toilets. The route loops around the town, going through a park, a nature reserve and over the river, as well as going through some residential areas. It finishes at the High Street (right by the car park) so you can go for a well earned cuppa afterwards!
