Polaroid Emulsion Lifts! with Jess Merritt

Join us for fun afternoon of analog photography! Polaroid Emulsion lifts are back and cooler than ever. In our brand new workshop you will learn how to take apart a Polaroid, distort, and place the image on another surface creating a unique print. No Polaroid camera is necessary, instead participants will use a digital to Polaroid transfer via phone app. Plain paper and a small sheet of glass are provided, but Polaroids can be transferred to a variety of surfaces including darkroom processed photos and pre-printed or painted paper. Each student will get to make three emulsion lifts.
