Alma Lebküchner González-Aller has been dancing since the age of two. Alma practices in many different art forms such as Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary and Flamenco. Alma studied at the National Institute of FLamenco, as well as the Public Academy for Performing Arts. Alma plans to attend the University of New Mexico to study Flamenco and Political Science.
Cristina Salazar began dancing at age five at the National Institute of Flamenco. She graduated in 2020 from Tierra Adentro of New Mexico, where she studied Flamenco dance and singing, ballet, and trained in the University of New Mexico Flamenco Dance Program. She has studied with renowned Flamenco artists, including Jose Maya, Irene la Sentio, La Popi, Lucia Campillo, Lidon Patino, Miguel Angel Heredia, and with singers Jesus Corbacho, and Alicia Morales. After the pandemic, Cristina performed for two seasons with La Emi Flamenco Santa Fe. She now teaches children’s Flamenco in Albuquerque, holds a scholarship at the National Institute of Flamenco, and is an understudy in Adam del Monte’s opera Llantos 1492, in which she sang at its world premiere.
An accomplished performer of Flamenco, Jazz, Classical Guitar, Guitar, and the Arabic lute (aka the Oud), Ronaldo Baca has been playing for New Mexico audiences for over 40 years. Outside of New Mexico he has performed in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain; Hollywood, CA; Las Vegas, NV; Denver, CO; Lawrence,KA; and Amarillo,TX. Most recently, he has performed as a soloist with the Santa Fe Symphony and Chorus at St. Francis Cathedral. For over a year, he studied and lived in Jerez de la Frontera, Andalucia, Spain. He has studied Flamenco under the guidance of Juan Junquera Cortez, Santiago Moreno, Pedro Cuadra, Chuscales, Pedro Cortez, Roberto Castellon, and Eric Patterson. He has also studied the Manouche style of jazz under renowned player Samson Schmitt.
A lifelong passion for flamenco ignited in Sarah Ward on her 18th birthday, after training as a figure skater. From her early days in Vancouver, Canada, to her current home in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Sarah continues to dedicate herself to flamenco, studying under renowned artists such as Concha Jareño, Adela Compallo, Maria Moreno, La Popi, and Ricardo Moro. Her feline grace and inherent sensuality have earned her the moniker "La Gata." A highlight of her career was producing, "Caras de Flamenco," a testament to her artistic vision, which drew a standing-room-only crowd. She has performed in Vanouver, Canada, Seattle, WA, Portland, OR, Albuquerque, Taos, and Santa Fe, NM in intimate tablaos and grand theaters alike. Sarah is the Art Director of MODA Flamenca.
