Girl, who do you think you are?
with Arlene Maestas
Proverbs 23:7–as she thinks within herself, so is she….
As Believers, we must know who we are in Christ!
We have a spiritual identity which far exceeds our physical identity!
Do you know who God says you are and are you living the life God has designed and planned for you to live?
We are in this world but not of it! We have a much higher calling and purpose here as Believers!
“My old identity has been co-crucified with Christ and no longer lives. And now the essence of this new life is no longer mine, for the Anointed One lives his life through me—we live in union as one! My new life is empowered by the faith of the Son of God who loves me so much that he gave himself for me, dispensing his life into mine!” â€â€Galatians‬ â€2‬:â€20‬ â€
About Arlene
Arlene gave her life to the Lord in 1983 during a home Bible study—an encounter that forever changed her heart and purpose. She spent many years growing in her faith at Victory Love Fellowship, where she actively served in small groups and the decision room, helping guide others in their walk with Christ.
In 2008, Arlene began attending Sagebrush Church, where her passion for ministry has only deepened. She has faithfully served in the jail ministry (JDC), completed SALT—Sagebrush Academy Leadership Training—and continues to lead a small group while also mentoring other group leaders. You’ll often find her in the Next Steps room, helping others take their first or next step in their faith journey.
Arlene has a heart for the lost and a gift for leading people to the Lord. She is a lifelong learner and a devoted student of God’s Word, constantly seeking to grow in knowledge and spiritual maturity.
Outside the church, Arlene is a vibrant part of the Albuquerque community. She serves as the marketing director for Albuquerque ER & Hospital and is the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Albuquerque Westside Business Association. Her life reflects her calling—to lead, to love, and to serve both inside and outside the church walls.
