This film block includes a BONUS Center Stage Conversation: Safeguarding Your Music Assets with Justin Muehlmeyer. This panel will include the screening filmmakers and will explore copyright and intellectual property (IP) in the context of music. The discussion begins with a comparison of two films to highlight the challenges of protecting general artistic themes versus specific works. This leads into a practical segment offering actionable advice for musicians and filmmakers on how to safeguard their creations through proper registration, contracts, and best practices.
