Join us for Artisan ABQ’s **first-ever Encaustic Photo Transfer Workshop** on **Friday, May 30th from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM**! This is your chance to explore the mesmerizing art of painting with hot wax in a hands-on class designed for artists of all levels. ��

**What You’ll Learn:**
- The basics of encaustic safety
- Techniques for working with wax
- How to complete two stunning wood panel paintings
- The modern phototransfer method to bring your printed images to life on wax!

By the end of this workshop, you’ll feel empowered and confident in creating your own unique encaustic photo transfers. All materials are included—just bring your creativity and enthusiasm! �

**Choose from two sessions:** 11 AM or 2 PM. Spaces are limited, so don’t wait to reserve your spot!

� **Important Note:** Working with hot wax may affect those with sensitive lungs. A fan will be used for ventilation, and masks will be available for anyone who would like one.

**Artist Bio:**
Mikaela Guggino is a talented local emerging artist specializing in encaustic and manuscript painting. With a BA in Studio Art and an MA in Art History from the University of Denver, she has honed her skills under the guidance of renowned encaustic techniques expert, Deborah Howard. Mikaela is passionate about sharing her love for this unique medium with others!
