Pachuco Boogie Nights: Headphone Dance Party Daytime Edition!" Join us for a one of a kind Headphone Dance Party as a part of the Pachuco Boogie Nights celebration. Live DJ, Rootz Rocker, handpicked tracks from the event committee and (Brandon's playlist). The dance party spans decades of music from swinging sounds of the 30s and 40s to today's music artists!
El Chante is a community-centered space that includes the Children’s Library, the Librotraficante Library, a community art gallery, and a boutique. El Chante offers free poetry writing workshops called Low Writing, as well as a monthly poetry open mic known as Voices of the Barrio. Our space also hosts a weekly women’s Narcotics Anonymous gathering to support recovery and healing. In addition, we proudly support Homegirls Mercado, a seasonal marketplace that uplifts local artisans and entrepreneurs.

There is space to dance both inside and outside El Chante. they do have a restroom. The Downtown Grower's Market is happening at the same time across the street in Robinson Park. Parking can be challenging in the area so give yourself time...

This is a free event but we are always happy to collect donations from folks willing to pitch in! To date we have raised over $30,000 for mostly local nonprofits plus paid for gear and DJs. For this event we are taking donations to pay our DJ and for El Chante...
