Mysteries and Monsters of the Depths: Homemade Periscopes

June was all about UFOs in Erie County!
June 17th we learned all about the "Alien lights" that have been reported over Lake Erie and made Balloon Rockets at The Valley School Museum, then on June 24th we made UFO Spinners at The Little Church on the Hill!

The fun isn't over yet though! First we went up into space, now we are going to take a DEEP DIVE into the local waters and one Great Lake!

July will be all about Mysteries and Monsters of the Depths.

On the 15th, Travelers will be at the Valley School Museum making periscopes to use to look under the dirty waters of Lake Erie and local bodies of water.

The 29th will be at The Little Church on the Hill, where we will share a story about how a woman's flower garden was getting ruined by torpedo testing, then we are going to try to build our own!

We will finish the summer learning about inventors in PA. Get excited to end the summer with perpetual motion machines and an ELECTRIC potato experiment!
