Step into a world of luminous color and flowing texture in this innovative workshop where encaustic hot wax meets India ink. Whether you're a seasoned encaustic artist or just curious about the medium, you'll learn how to build ethereal, vibrant paintings that glow from within. Explore techniques for layering wax and ink to create everything from abstracted landscapes to non-representational masterpieces—all on panels and paper. With expert guidance and all supplies included, you might even leave with a few handmade gifts just in time for the holidays.

Please note that our classes are typically held in the lower level of Arlene's. Because access to the lower level is available only by stair, please let us know if using the stairs presents any difficulty for you in advance of the class so we can make alternate arrangements. We want to make sure everyone is able to enjoy and participate in our classes
