Main Street Albany’s Music at the Market, presented by BTC Bank, will welcome back Albany native Tryce Floyd and Tyler Fritzsche to the stage on Thursday, July 17. Music will begin at 6 pm at Smith Street Park, alongside the Albany Square Farmers Market. Visitors are invited to bring a blanket or lawn chair, shop local businesses and the Farmers Market, and enjoy live, local music in downtown Albany. Main Street Albany board members will have the grill fired up for a quick dinner option.
This week’s music is sponsored by American Family Insurance – David Smith, agent. Tryce Floyd graduated from AHS in 2021 and has been playing guitar for almost two years. His musical influences are ‘90s grunge and “dad rock.” Tyler Fritzsche, out of south central Texas, made his way north after high school and graduated from Northwest. He has been playing guitar and writing songs with a country-rock influence for over 10 years, with 20 original full songs to his name. Together, they plan to record some of their original music to be released by the end of the summer. You can expect to hear a little of everything on Thursday, including several of Tyler's original songs!
Prior to Music at the Market, we encourage you to visit the Albany Square Farmers Market which opens at 4:30 pm. Music at the Market will follow at 6 pm to take advantage of the shade in Smith Street Park.
