Hello, Daylily Fans!! Hope you have been enjoying your summer break!! We've been missing you, so it's time to reunite!!
Our monthly meetings will resume this Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 11 AM at the American Legion Post 30 on Gillionville Rd. in Albany, GA.
We will welcome a special guest, Dougherty County Extension Agriculture and Natural Resource Agent, Vivek Bist. We are excited to have him visit our club and share his wealth of knowledge with us. He is a valuable local resource that can educate us on many topics related to gardening. So make sure you have your questions ready for him.
Lunch will be provided by our club members. The menu is chicken salad and croissants. Club members are asked to bring their favorite summertime side dishes, desserts, or drinks to share with our guests and friends. Our Hospitality Coordinator is Kimberly Henderson. You may contact her at 229-347-3609 with your questions or to let her know what items you will be bringing to the meal.
After the presentation, we will be having a "Bargain Beauties" plant sale. Our friends and club members, David and Regina Richardson from Indian Camp Daylilies, will be providing some beautiful daylilies at the fantastic low price of $5!! Guests and new members will get to shop first. You don't want to miss this opportunity to get some great flowers for your garden.
As always, we will be giving away some door prizes, and having a fun time of fellowship with our daylily friends!!
