The Boys & Girls Clubs of the San Luis Valley, in partnership with a broad network of funders and community organizations, is excited to announce the official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for The HUB: Nonprofit Innovation Collaborative on Friday, May 23, 2025, at 12:00 PM.
Located at 516 San Juan Avenue in downtown Alamosa, The HUB is a one-of-a-kind nonprofit co-working space designed to bring mission-driven organizations, food entrepreneurs, and community innovators under one roof.
The HUB features flexible nonprofit co-working spaces, a state-of-the-art commercial commissary kitchen, and the GenWild Gear Library, providing outdoor equipment access for San Luis Valley youth and families.
Through generous support from partners including the Kenneth King Foundation, the Southwest Bank Community Foundation, Boettcher Foundation, Colorado Health Foundation, GOCO, Colorado Parks and Wildlife, Beacon Fund, CHFA, and others, The HUB has transformed a formerly vacant building into a thriving center for collaboration and growth.
The Ribbon Cutting Event will feature:
• Remarks by community leaders
• Tours of The HUB’s facilities, including current nonprofit tenants like SLV GO! and Southwest Conservation Corps
• Light refreshments
• Opportunities to learn about co-working memberships and rental spaces
The event is open to the public, and all supporters, community members, and media are warmly invited to attend.
