About the Author:
A Colorado native, Danny has taught Taekwondo and volunteered as a DJ for a community radio station. He enjoys cycling, wilderness hikes, podcasts, obscure movies and retro video games, and hanging out with his parrotlets. He is currently writing a series of near future literary fiction novels.
During law school, Danny was active in pro bono services, internships, and education, particularly focused on civil rights. He also served as Articles Editor for the Gonzaga Journal of International Law, and as President of the Gonzaga Intellectual Property Law Association.
After law school, Danny went on to work as an associate attorney in the practice area of intellectual property law, focusing on copyright issues on behalf of artists, authors, and photographers. His award-winning documentaries and new media projects have been shown worldwide in film festivals, at academic and industry events, as well as through non-profit and commercial distribution. Danny has served in camera and grip/electric departments for short films, music videos, and independent features. His work as director of photography and as a film editor on photography and film projects has taken him to the wilderness of Alaska, Kenya, Australia, Peru, Ireland, and the Galapagos Islands. Danny is the owner/operator of Emberwilde Productions, has served as executive media producer for the DC-based sports company Reel Video Productions, and worked as video producer/editor for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. As an educator, Danny has taught media production and analysis at universities, colleges, and education centers around the country.
About the Book:
End of the Tracks: Homecoming takes place in the Pacific Northwest in a time known as “The Long Collapse.” Supplies are difficult to find, energy shortages are common, and violence is a constant possibility.
