Help shape the future of transportation safety in Alachua County!
Join us for the third and final Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) action plan community workshop to address pressing concerns about street safety for all road users.
The workshop will be held on Sept. 23, 2025, at The Swick House (15100 NW 142nd Terr., Gainesville) from 5 to 7 p.m.
The meeting will present proposed safety projects, including key pieces of the draft plan, a major initiative aimed at making streets safer for all residents.
The SS4A plan seeks to identify and address the systemic issues contributing to these incidents, focusing on policy improvements and actionable projects to reduce risks for all road users. The county will present draft recommendations and proposed safety projects.
Whether you missed the first two sessions or want to continue the conversation, your ideas are valuable and needed.
Come ready to contribute, connect with your neighbors, and participate in the planning process that affects your community. Let’s work together to reduce traffic violence and create safer, more connected streets for all.
