From March through June 2026, Dr. Thomas Dudney is offering professional teeth whitening at a reduced fee — and donating 100% of the proceeds to children’s charities through the Smiles For Life Foundation. Even more meaningful, 50% of all funds raised are earmarked for his local charity partner, Smile a Mile, which supports Alabama children and families battling cancer.
The Smiles for Life Foundation is a national dental charity dedicated to helping seriously ill, disabled, and underprivileged children. Since 1998, Dr. Dudney has proudly participated in the annual Smiles for Life whitening campaign, which is hosted and organized by the Crown Council, an independently owned alliance of leading dental teams committed to promoting oral health, fighting oral cancer, and serving their communities through charitable outreach.
Thanks to the generosity of Crown Council, all whitening supplies are donated during the campaign, and participating dentists — including Dr. Dudney — donate their time and expertise. Since its inception, Smiles for Life has raised more than $50 million, creating brighter smiles for patients while transforming the lives of children in need.
Dr. Dudney has operated a patient-centered private practice in Alabaster since 1982, focusing on cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry. In addition to serving his patients, he teaches hands-on programs and presents workshops and lectures at dental meetings worldwide. He has also authored numerous articles on aesthetic and restorative dentistry.
