Join us to discuss How to Read a Book by Monica Wood. Violet Powell, recently released after serving time for a fatal drunk-driving accident, crosses paths in a Portland bookstore with Harriet Larson, a retired teacher and prison book-club leader, and Frank Daigle, whose wife was the victim. Their chance meeting draws the three into an uneasy, transformative connection shaped by guilt, grief, and the search for meaning after loss.
