A 100 % donation-driven community rally where bikes replace bullets and neighbors ride shoulder-to-shoulder with first-responders to declare peace on our streets. Every dollar you give powers the real work—pop-up “Why So Angry?” circles in neighborhood gyms, trauma-informed clinics where therapists and credible messengers sit eye-to-eye with folks who’ve never had a safe space to vent, and art-therapy workshops that turn bottled-up pain into bold expression. Your donations cover facilitator stipends, bike-ride transport, art supplies, and the coffee that keeps late-night healing sessions alive. This is more than an event; it’s one of SGID Media Group’s and Bicycle Ride vs Gun Violence’s core goals: to bring awareness and tangible help to our communities by dismantling trust barriers, teaching stress-release tools, and fighting the hood PTSD too many of us carry like invisible weight. Because when unspoken pain gets a mic and a roadmap, street-corner violence loses its grip—and futures without sirens become possible.

10 :30 AM Unity Ride — 7-mile round-trip to Lake Niasmith (waves every 3 min) firefighter & police teams race with the community

10 :30 AM – 1 PM Family Lake Loop — 2-mile walk/ride around Summit LakeAccessible to strollers, wheelchairs.

12 PM Food Fired UpFree BBQ plates, pizzas, fruit & water

12 :30 PM Awards & Raffle Prizes + ribbons for all loop finishers

1 – 2 PM Clean-Up & Farewell Peace LapVolunteers welcome!
