Holy Trinity is partnering with DLM Food & Resources for God’s Work. Our Hands. Sunday! DLM families will be invited to join us for worship where we will welcome them with open arms. Afterwards, everyone will gather in the Fellowship Hall for lunch and activities with families also shopping for food. This will be a new and different way for Holy Trinity folks to be the ‘hands and feet’ of Jesus to our friends and neighbors.
No one person or ministry team can do this alone! Many people are needed to help in a variety of ways. Please take a look and see where you can plug in. There is a sign-up sheet at the Welcome Center—all are invited to serve!!
Preparing and Serving Lunch
This team will select the menu and prep and serve the meal to everyone at the event.
· 4 kitchen volunteers needed
· 2 drink table volunteers needed
Providing Books & School Supplies Kits
Each family will received two books and each school-age child will receive a school supplies kit. This team will help gather the books and school supplies and assemble the kits and will help distribute them at the event.
· 2-3 volunteers needed
Staffing a Craft & Coloring Activity
This team will select a simple craft and/or coloring activity for children, gather all needed supplies, and staff this station at the event.
· 2 volunteers needed
