Founders' Day

Summa Health invites you to celebrate Founders’ Day with us. Join us for a day filled with inspiration, fellowship and reflection as we honor the founders of Alcoholics Anonymous and the transformative power of recovery. AA has its roots in Akron, with Dr. Bob Smith and Sister Ignatia creating the first hospital-based unit in the country dedicated to the treatment of alcoholism.

Dive more into the rich history of AA by attending this wonderful event at the Juve Family Behavioral Health Pavilion.

A special presentation is scheduled for 12 - 1 p.m., 12 Step Recovery with Advances in Addiction Medicine, by Dr. Theodore Parran, Jr.
