The Dragons on the Lake Dragon Boat Festival is an annual event at Portage Lakes State Park that draws over 1,500 participants and spectators for a day of spirited racing and community connection. Teams of 20 paddlers compete in Corporate, Community, and Breast Cancer Survivor divisions. Proceeds support the Dragon Dream Team, Ohio’s first all breast cancer survivor dragon boat team. This year’s festival is set for Saturday, July 19, 2025.
