All are welcome to join the Society in celebrating its 101st Annual Meeting with a dinner and program at the Akron Woman's City Club on Wednesday, May 28th. This year's theme reflects the Perkins' family legacy in the formation of Akron and Summit County during the Akron Bicentennial year.

Take a journey through time using the lens of Society artifacts on display this year at the Perkins Stone Mansion and Akron History Center for Akron's Bicentennial. From its founding to industry and famous people, there's something for everyone in the brief slide show featured at the end of the meal.
The evening starts at 5:30p.m. with a cash bar and Akron-Centric hors d'oeuvres of "Bunnie B" sauerkraut balls and Nick's Anthe's bean salad.
At 6:00 p.m., the Society will hold its annual business meeting hosted by Chris Esker, Society chair, Chas Schreckenberger, vice chair & nominating chair, and Liz Blystone, Society treasurer.
