Hello Ladies!
WHAT TO EXPECT
Why not have a go at learning to fish with lures. It's a great way to catch fish by tricking them to eat with a lure. I'll be demonstrating how to set up your fishing rod and how to tie on a lure. We will then have a lure casting demonstration followed by the many different techniques of lure retrieval to attract different types of fish. Afterwards we'll have a much needed sit down with a chat about the meet, some food (Pot Luck) and a group photo only if you're in agreeance of course and discuss the next meet and location with you. Answer any questions you may have.
WHAT TO BRING
Sun protection, Water, Casting fishing rod (Bait Caster or Egg Beater), Any lures you wish to try (I will have plenty to share) Chair if you like or towel to sit on after meet, Bring a plate of food of your choice to share with the group after fishing (Fruit, Sandwiches, Savoury) on a plate from home so no need to throw plastic in the bins. Any good or bad jokes for a laugh!!
LOCATION-SHINGLEY BEACH
We will meet at the Shingley Beach Carpark on the grass near the toilet block so it's easy to find. There's parking on the street also.
COST
Gold coin donation for non WRFL (Women's Recreational Fishing League) members. All welcome to join on the day.
RULES
All I ask is that you respect our pristine waterways by using the rubbish bins provided. Children must be supervised at all times. Be respectful of others in the group.
LASTLY
It doesn't matter if you have never fished before. This is about coming out and trying something new and meeting like minded women. You might just like it and become a lover of fishing like myself and pass on your new skills to family and friends. You're welcome to come and join us if you're an avid fisher woman also. The more the merrier! All ages welcome. Each month you will learn a new fishing method. I look forward to meeting you all and having a fantastic first meet!
