About Abundance Community Farm
Abundance Community Farm (ACF) was created as a social experiment in growing food and community that is in harmony with nature and facilitates our personal, collective, and environmental healing. It is an exciting experiment in community agriculture that bridges the farm and the city, offering creative solutions to food security and social well-being. In this experiment, 100 city dwellers come together every weekend of the season to grow local organic food and co-create land-based community.
ACF aims to foster, experiment with, and model new ways of relating to self, community and the land. It believes that healing and reframing these relationships are the essential seeds needed to address the challenges of our times.
Located 1.5 hours east of Vancouver, Abundance Community Farm rests beside the mighty Fraser river, nestled in a valley of mountains overseen by the magnificent Mount Cheam. The farm is located on the unceded territory of the Cheam, Seabird Island, Skwah, and Kwaw kwa-a-pilt First Nations, close to the town now known as Agassiz, BC. (

A typical community farm weekend begins Saturday at 10am with an Opening Circle followed by working together in the vegetable garden, food forest and medicinal herb garden. The evening consists of a potluck dinner and a member-led activity that can include things like arts & crafts, yoga, storytelling around the fire, a hike up the mountain, a dip in the river, playing music and dancing in the barn.
Members and guests (that includes participants to this 1-day workshop!) who opt for the full day activities are welcome (encouraged!) to stay overnight in our first-come, first-served barn accommodations or use our grassy tent space. BYO bedding.
-If you want to partake of the full day Farm experience Saturday, Aug 16 and stay for our Full Day Immersion on Sunday, Aug 17, email
