The Afton Village Holiday is a truly immersive experience. Our historic town is transformed into a winter wonderland, alive with music, laughter, and light. At its heart, the event is about community connection, small-town warmth, and the timeless traditions that bring us together during the holidays.
Afton is magical year-round, but the holidays take that charm to another level. The historic village is adorned with garlands, wreaths, bows, and holiday decorations. Our vintage-inspired streetlamps cast a soft, ambient glow as dusk falls, guiding visitors through the village like something out of a holiday movie.
As you walk the streets, you’ll hear the gentle rhythm of horse-drawn wagons, the voices of carolers, the crackle of firewood, and the laughter of children. Each shop, dinner, and corner invites you in to discover something delightful—whether it’s a warm drink, a beautiful handmade gift, or a friendly conversation.
There’s a true sense of belonging here. Even visitors who are new to Afton often tell us they feel like they’ve stepped into a holiday storybook, a simpler, slower, more meaningful version of the holidays. And that’s exactly the kind of feeling we hope to create.
