DATE/TIME:
Dance With Heart Studios will hold auditions for the 2025/2026 Competition Team on Saturday, May 31st from 9am-12pm.
AGE REQUIREMENTS:
Dancers must be between the ages of 8 and 18 years by December 1st, 2025. Exceptions are made for students who have been personally invited to audition by a teacher from DWHS.
LOCATION:
DWHS Adrian – 105 West Maumee Adrian, MI 49221
ATTIRE:
Girls – Black leotard and tan or pink tights. Please bring with you all dance shoes that you have available. Hair must be in a bun and sprayed back. NO jewelry or fingernail polish. Make-up is allowed. Please look professional.
Boys – White t-shirt or tank top and black dance pants. Please bring with you all dance shoes that you have available. Please look professional.
ARRIVAL AND AUDITION PROCEDURE:
Please arrive 30 mins before your scheduled audition time to warm up. Procedure is as follows –
9:00 am – New potential team members &
Pink Hearts from last year.
10:00 am – Green Hearts from last year.
11:00 am – Black Hearts from last year.
COST:
$20.00 per audition student
PARENT MEETING:
There will be a mandatory parent meeting on Monday, June 23rd from 7:30-9:30pm at DWHS Manchester. This date gives Miss Anya time to assess and determine additions and changes to the team. All paperwork will be available at this time so parents can ask questions and make informed decisions by the end of the meeting.

COMPETITION CHOREOGRAPHY PRIVATE LESSONS:
A week of new choreography private lessons will take place August 4th – 8th, 2025. Team dancers will meet for 2.5 hours per dance to learn their new choreography for the season. This schedule and lesson location will be sent after auditions and before the mandatory parent meeting.
COMPETITION DANCE CAMP:
DWHS will hold our annual intensive dance camp from August 11th-15th, 2025 at our Adrian location -- 105 West Maumee Adrian, MI 49221. This camp is REQUIRED for participation on the competition team.
