- **Event Description**: Unley Concert Band will be joining forces with the Adelaide Harmony Choir and soprano soloist Danielle Ruggiero-Prior for a special performance of Karl Jenkin's moving mass 'The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace' at Scotch College's Fisher Chapel.

The Armed Man was commissioned in 1999 by the Royal Armouries Museum for the Millennium celebrations and it was dedicated to victims of the Kosovo crisis. The premiere was performed at the Royal Albert Hall in 2000 by the National Youth Choir of Great Britain and the National Musicians Symphony Orchestra, and is a very popular work which more than 3000 performances worldwide.

The version for this concert has been beautifully transcribed by eminent British wind and brass composer Martin Ellerby for symphonic wind band and choir.

The performance will also include Unley Concert Band performing Angels in the Architecture by Frank Ticheli.
