Sevenhill Pilgrimage for Jubilee Year of Hope 2025 - Saturday 4 October, 2025

The 2025 Jubilee Year in our Catholic Church is a time for renewal, reflection, and spiritual growth. It gives us a chance to rediscover God's love, reconcile with others, and contribute to building a more just and merciful world.

As part of that, you are invited on the Emmaus pilgrimage to St Aloysius Church (pictured above) on 4 October, 2025. Note, this is the Saturday of the Long Weekend, which may not suit everyone but was the only suitable date (lots of people are heading to Sevenhill for a pilgrimage, it's one of 3 sites in our state chosen for pilgrimage this year - See https://adelaide.catholic.org.au/our-faith/jubilee-year-of-hope-2025-1 ).

A chartered bus will depart Holy Cross at 8.30am and aim to return at 6pm. Tickets to cover the bus charter are $30. We will have a mass together in the church, and there's a chance to walk the beautiful grounds, have a tour of the Jesuit winery and wine tasting. Michael Madigan has kindly agreed to guide some small group mindfulness meditation. Lunch is BYO or the option to pre-order through the nearby Red Grape bakery ( https://www.clarevalley.com.au/directory/the-little-red-grape-bakery-cafe) and they will deliver to us.

It will be an enriching day journeying together.
