Helpmann Academy and the Elder Conservatorium of Music are excited to announce Australian exclusive Open Masterclass with Grammy award-winning bassist Linda May Han Oh.

Linda is currently Associate Professor at the Berklee College of Music in the bass department and also part of the Institute for Jazz and Gender Justice led by Terri Lyne Carrington.

This is an exceptional opportunity to see Linda May Han Oh lead an exclusive masterclass for select emerging jazz musicians – specifically current students and recent graduates of the Elder Conservatorium of Music.
Linda May Han Oh will workshop with three student ensembles, providing feedback and real–time solutions to questions raised. Dr Lyndon Gray, Lecturer in Jazz Bass at the Elder Conservatorium of Music, will facilitate a discussion with Linda on band–leading and workshopping original material, particularly from the rhythm section.
This Masterclass is free for Helpmann Academy alumni. Members of the public are welcome to attend. General Admission tickets are $10 + booking fee.
This is your chance to expand your experience of jazz. Not usually open to the public.
