I would like to invite you to our first studio opening and family exhibition, An old Ground New next Saturday.
The new Studio is situated on the grounds of the Maylands London Pottery kiln site (circa 1891).
The exhibition is the outcome of my son’s year 11 Activating Identities and Futures project.
Alex will be showing the outcome of his studies, working in ink and charcoal exploring the power of tornadoes and weather.
Mark Fitz-Gerald will be exhibiting photos exploring the concept of consent, based primarily on the street.
Peter will be showing a selection of digital artworks in response to music artist, Ethel Cain and YouTube series, The Life series.
I will be exhibiting drawings on wood panel exploring the arrival of ‘Pommie’ blackbirds to Australia (to alleviate the melancholy of early settlers).
The studio is almost finished, and the garden is a somewhat neglected ‘work in progress’, but all welcome.
