Come and join your fellow Adelaide University EMCRs from across society, arts, business and law (and related disciplines!) for an afternoon that’s all about making new connections.

Share ideas over free food and drinks, try your hand at lawn games, and meet the people who could be your next collaborators - or office mates!

With our universities coming together, this is a great chance to get to know future colleagues in your new college or school in a relaxed setting. Whether you’re curious about possible collaborations or just want to expand your professional circle, it’s a friendly space to start connecting.

Who’s invited?
This event is open to all staff EMCRs at UniSA and the University of Adelaide (both teaching and research staff, and anyone in the early to mid stages of their research career), who are in disciplines relating to society, arts, business and law. All EMCRs are welcome - from those fresh out of their PhD to those with a few more years of experience!

These disciplines generally include (but are not exclusive to) researchers sitting within the University of Adelaide Faculty of Arts, Business, Law and Economics; UniSA Justice & Society; UniSA Education Futures; UniSA Creative; and UniSA Business. But anyone whose research sits generally within that group of disciplines is welcome!

What to expect

• A welcoming environment to start building connections in your new academic community
