The Future of Cody’s Friends Rescue:
This event is more than just an evening of fun —it’s a step towards securing a brighter future for Cody’s Friends Rescue. With the recent loss of Poochville, our long-term vision includes acquiring a dedicated facility to continue saving dogs in need. By attending or sponsoring Bark N Bling, you’re helping us take the next step toward building a new space where more lives can be rescued, rehabilitated, and rehomed. Your contributions are not only vital for today but also for the future of countless animals.
Over the past 15 years, Cody’s Friends Rescue has found loving homes for more than 9,500 dogs. Today, we are proud to be one of the largest rescues in the DFW metroplex, but WE NEED YOUR HELP! Our current shelter rental facility was recently sold, and we urgently need to raise funds to purchase a new one to keep saving lives.
The funds raised at the Bark & Bling gala will help us secure a new location, but we still need to raise about $500,000 to cover our $12,000 monthly operating expenses, which include life-saving surgeries, medical care, and more. With shelters across DFW at capacity, the need is greater than ever. Your support is critical in helping us continue saving lives one dog at a time!
