Sprayer Drone and Moss Robotics

Seeding and Propagation

Raemelton propagates many of its trees in-house. Learn about our seedlings, rooted cuttings, and field-budded trees.
Station 3
Cover Crop Planting
Speaker: Dr. Paula Shrewsbury, UMD Extension
Raemelton makes extensive use of cover crops throughout the farm. Learn about the impacts of cover crops on insect populations and soil management. Seeing beneficial insect habitats in practice.
Station 4
Organic Crop Processes and Production
Speaker: Steve Black, Owner, Raemelton Farm
Raemelton Farm is the only USDA-certified ORGANIC nursery in the country. Tour the organic fields and learn about the specialized practices and innovative equipment used.
