A Coffee Lesson + Pairing: Oaxaca by Around the World in 80 Cups

Join us at the Adams Theater for a unique cultural coffee experience. Attendees will taste single-origin coffee from Oaxaca, Mexico, which will be paired with nicuatole, a pre-Hispanic, Oaxacan dessert made from corn, sugar, and cinnamon. The lesson will begin at 11A.M.

Oaxacan-inspired specialty coffee drinks will also be sold a la carte from 9 A.M. to 11 A.M, before the event.

Around the World in 80 Cups is a culturally immersive coffee concept designed to highlight the global journey of coffee, from bean to cup. Inspired by Jules Verne’s classic Around the World in Eighty Days, each installment of this project explores the coffee, culture, and culinary traditions of a different origin country. The goal is to educate and engage consumers about coffee through a curated tasting experience that pairs single-origin coffee beans with a traditional snack from its region of origin.
