Join us for the Juneteenth Local Food Symposium at Bloom Ranch on Saturday, June 14, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM PDT, hosted in partnership with Black Soil KY.

We’re bringing together farmers, community members, and changemakers to explore how food sovereignty, community collaboration, and regenerative practices can build a more just and sustainable future.

The event is free to attend, compliments of the host, Dr. Bill Releford. Registration is required for admission.

We’ll begin with a locally sourced brunch and informal networking, followed by remarks from Dr. Bill Releford and Black Soil KY. You’ll hear from inspiring local speakers and have the opportunity to tour Bloom Ranch, meet Dr. Releford, and browse a curated vendor market.

This event honors the legacy of Juneteenth—a celebration of freedom, resilience, and Black agricultural traditions—and invites you to engage with the future of local food and land stewardship in California and beyond.
