Two rival factions battle for control of the mythical realm of Asgard. As the battle rages, a third elite team—the Guardians of Asgard—descends to restore balance and protect the realm from total destruction.
Storyline: The Fall and Rise of Asgard
After Odin’s disappearance, Asgard is thrown into chaos. Two factions rise:
● Team Ragnarok: Rebels who believe Asgard must be destroyed to be reborn.
● Team Valhalla: Loyalists who fight to preserve the old ways and protect the realm.
As their war escalates, the cosmic balance begins to fracture. In the final phase of the game, the Guardians of Asgard—a legendary third force led by Heimdall’s chosen warriors—arrive to intervene. Their mission: prevent either side from claiming total victory and restore order.
Prologue:
For millennia, Asgard stood as the crown jewel of the Nine Realms, a beacon of order, wisdom, and divine power. But peace is a fragile thing. After the mysterious disappearance of Odin (Abducted by Team Ragnarok) —the Allfather and protector of cosmic balance—Asgard was left leaderless, vulnerable to ambition and vengeance. The Bifrost flickers. The skies crack with thunder. And from the shadows, two factions rise.
Team Ragnarok
Led by the warlord Skarn Bloodhowl, Ragnarok is a coalition of exiled warriors, dark sorcerers, and rogue gods who believe Asgard must fall to be reborn. They use Odin’s absence as a weapon: the age of gods is over, and the realm must be purged in fire.
Their goal is to destroy the sacred relics that anchor Asgard’s power—the Spear of Gungnir, Mjolnir, and the Bifrost Crystal. With these gone, the realm will collapse, and a new order will rise from the ashes.
Team Valhalla
Valhalla is composed of loyalists—shieldmaidens, Einherjar warriors, and mystics who still believe in the old ways. Led by Lady Freyja Stormborn, they guard the relics and try to recover their father Odin, determined to preserve Asgard’s sanctity.
They’ve fortified the realm’s stronghold, using ancient runes and divine enchantments to protect the relics and send forces out to recover Odin. But the enemy grows bolder with each passing hour.
The Guardians of Asgard (Admin: Used for Balance and the End)
As the battle rages, the destruction of relics begins to unravel the fabric of reality. The skies bleed auroras. Time fractures. Magic surges unpredictably across the battlefield. The Nine Realms tremble.
Sensing the impending collapse, Heimdall—guardian of the Bifrost—activates the last failsafe: the Guardians of Asgard.
The Guardians are an elite, neutral force summoned from the heart of Yggdrasil itself. They are not loyal to Ragnarok or Valhalla—they serve only the balance of the cosmos. Clad in shimmering armor and wielding enchanted weapons, they descend in the final
phase of battle to reclaim the relics and eliminate any who threaten the realm.
Led by Eira the Watcher, a seer who speaks with the voice of the World Tree, the Guardians bring swift judgment. They teleport across the battlefield, disrupt enemy formations, and reclaim relics with divine precision.
Gameplay
Team Ragnarok
Offensive: Destroy Key Asgardian Relics (Must have three under control by the end to win. Or 2 Relic + Odin Protected.)
Defensive: Protect their Prisoner Odin from being captured. (Can have Odin protected + 2 Relics at the end to win.)
Team Valhalla
Offensive: Attack Team Ragnarok and recover the VIP (Odin) carrying only a sidearm. (Can have Odin + 2 Relics at the end to win.)
Defensive: Defend the 3 Asgardian Relics from Team Ragnarok. (Can have 2 Relics + Odin at the end to win.)
Guardians of Asgard
This team will consist entirely of Admins/Refs. It will be used for balancing, and to keep the game running longer in the end. They are entirely mercenaries and maybe we can discuss on a way for them to be called in by either team, but for now we will determine
when and which side to come in for.
Phase One (First Half of the Day)
The VIP game mode. Odin (or another character.) will be a prisoner on Ragnarok’s side with a sidearm. Valhalla’s goal will be to come and capture Odin and bring him back to their spawn. Once that happens we will kick into Phase Two.
Phase Two (Second Half of the Day.)
The Relics will be placed out at certain points by staff in spray painted circles on the field. (There will be six circles.) Three for Ragnarok, and Three for Valhalla. The relics will start on Valhalla's side, and when captured will sit in Ragnarok’s circles, able to be
captured back by Valhalla.
The VIP will also join in the fighting back against Ragnarok, BUT if he is shot, he must sit and be revived by a Valhalla teammate, or be captured again by Ragnarok, to which Valhalla will have to recover him again.
Winning Conditions: Either team must have 3 of the 4 objectives under control by the end to win. If it is 2 and 2 by the end of the game it will be sudden death with one of the relics.
This will be a full map game!
